About This Book

I don’t see it as telling stories, because there has to be an element of parable for me to relate to it, so as I curate everything what I do, it is always with this in mind. I enjoyed writing this little book so much, because I had that experience or feeling, of being inspired and going along for the ride it was a very enjoyable process, and a new experience for me. S the result, is what it is and I am certain that it’s niche. So, Al is a young inventor and he’s about to turn twelve, he’s on holiday with his mum. They’re at the old lake house where she grew up. It’s a small town with just a handful of people, all them a little eccentric and one of them is about to give Al an unexpected gift… could this be his best birthday yet!

It’s a story for grown ups disguised as a children book. it’s loosely based on real events, mixed with my own experiences and imagination. I have made some light illustrations to sprinkle throughout the book, which is available on amazon as a keep sake, but if you don’t want to buy it, I can read it to you if you like, in this video.
