“Josie is a stage animal, always has been, always will be”

Josie began performing on stage as a child , and it’s a passion that has continued to this day and a skill that has developed over time. When the Kanneh Masons wanted someone to present their first ever family concert during lockdown, they chose Josie.

In December 2025 she presented several sold out Carol concerts for the Royal Albert Hall alongside the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and also wrote and presented a sold out Carol concert for Sheffield City Hall.

Josie greatly enjoys narrating concerts, working alongside orchestras to bring to life much loved stories and characters for a live audience.

The other piece in Josie’s repertoire is Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf which Josie performed alongside the highly acclaimed Manchester Camerata, as part of their storytime programme , sharing the stage with fellow story teller, Sir Micheal Morpurgo.

Josie revelled in telling this fun story for all ages and saw it as a celebration of innocence, courage and faith.
